Bored, late one Friday night (doesn't make sense, does it?) I AltaVista'd
Lawrence Welk. Since this was the
early days of the web, there wasn't much out there and I stumbled across
the Master's article, Lawrence Welk, Postmodernist.
I explored the rest of the site and found the now-defunct Ask Dr. Web. I had
been curious about web design since my brother had started the
now-defunct Airshop catalog. My weekend was free, my ex-boyfriend's band didn't
have a web site...
...and so it began.

Green. No, red. I mean, blue.
I think the only color I unequivocally hate is mauve. I even hate the way it's pronounced, correctly or incorrectly. I suppose there may be, somewhere, a place where the color is not inappropriate, but I doubt it.
OK, in Googling mauve, I saw a number of varieties and I guess it's really not so bad. I still think it's gross to the ear.
